SQL transaction logs do not normally need to be backed up using securestor as the information contained in them is usually already in the SQL Server Database backup (which definitely SHOULD be backed up via SecureStor). This does not mean that it is not important to backup the transaction log locally using the SQL Server backup functionality, this is what “zeroes” out the transaction log.
