Check to ensure your sub-folder is not an IIS Application Folder. IIS (Internet Information Services) creates a new application session in IIS application folders which would then create a new cookie or append the name of the existing cookie in your client browser.

Submit a Ticket to the Technical Support Department via the Alentus Support Center to check your website in IIS on the server to ensure your sub-folder is not an IIS Application folder.
